The brief
Firedog rebranded The Pinnacle Foundation, a UK registered charity established in 1999 set up to generate funds for various community projects across Southern Africa.
The solution
The new marque was designed in London, yet we felt the identity required a wood-cut finish and Firedog suggested that it would add gravitas to the brand if the identity was carved by a well-known South African artist.
The results
Sketches were supplied to Peter Clarke in Cape Town so that he could work on creating the identity using the woodcut medium. The result is a pleasing balance between ethnic and contemporary styles.
