Bouygues UK – showcasing innovative and sustainable construction
Here at Firedog, we have been working away on the new Bouygues UK brand visual identity & website which is now live.

Bouygues UK are the UK arm of Bouygues, a French construction company, full of French flair and passion. Our brief was to create greater brand awareness, communicate the company’s core capabilities, demonstrate their diverse portfolio, create synergy with the parent brand whilst retailing a strong individual identity and change the perception of Bouygues UK within the marketplace. Bouygues UK are more than equal to their bigger competitors but awareness of the brand did not reflect this.
The look and feel of the brand was to change from the very conservative construction feel to give it a more immersive site experience while showcasing their work. This is information about their projects and the corporate and social responsibility of the company. Bouygues prides itself on having high values in all that they do and this message, along with their work, needed prominence on the site.

With so many outstanding projects, creating a list of them on the website would make a project page too long and splitting them by sector on different pages could result in the user only viewing one area of their work. This problem was solved by incorporating filters to view the projects. The user can filter by sector, location or client, making case studies easy to navigate.
Our work with Bouygues UK will continue in the New Year and we’re looking forward to creating more outstanding work with them in 2012.
