Adding new dimensions to Savills Investment Management

Firedog has completed a brand and visual identity for Savills Investment management. The business is the investment art of Savills, the global real estate company established in 1855.

We have been commissioned to advise on brand strategy and to follow through with a refreshed positioning for the brand. Following the strategic process, we have been tasked with creating a new visual identity to be applied to corporate communications, website design and brand guidelines. The business has diversified far beyond the traditional notions of property. The new brand is to leverage the greater offer to their stakeholders and the public at large.

The new positioning created in partnership with our client is “We see property from all angles”. We struck upon the notion of angles leading to dimensions and followed through with an identity which leverages this perception. We created a photographic treatment utilising people shot in reflections within glass and colourised the imagery to give it a unique feel.

Contemporary treatment

Savills IM have an internal design department so we built a new visual identity, colour palette and a set of helpful guidelines for the team. This enabled the brand to easily extend their corporate communications across the regions in which they operate. The project has been a great success and the brand has been readily implemented across digital and traditional platforms. We are busy assisting the client in creating a new property based research tool called Dynamic Cities.
