Animated gif’s are back in town

I stumbled across these animated gifs on the blog site of Jamie Beck (a New York photographer) and was blown away by the use of an outdated and yet (in this case) overlooked bit of web trickery. Along with Kevin Burg (responsible for the web trickery) they created the sublime and delicate Cinemagraphs.

I honestly haven’t seen this level of reinvention since David Beckham parted his hair on the left! – it used to be on the right.
