Arcade Fire Poster

It’s a perfect moment to post this amazing poster as Arcade Fire is now one of the big bands after getting the 2011 Brit Award for Best International Album for their third album, The Suburbs. The poster was created by Barcelona-based artist Alex Trochut, using denim, embroidery and bleach.

About this project, Trochut said: “It was a long process, totally analog, no computer (which was a good change), a real image I think is what fits with this amazing band. I wanted to capture their complexity of sounds and feelings, the rapture moments I feel when I hear their songs.  A mix of joy, nostalgia, and pain. I feel they touch real life topics from a very emotional angle, and I thought denim was a good way to cross tradition and their indie mood.”
