Firedog strides ahead with two new websites for the British Horse Racing Authority (BHA)
The BHA today celebrated the launch of two new websites: A dynamic industry information site entitled careersinracing.com and a second smaller site geared towards racing excellence
In 2009 the BHA decided to appoint Firedog to add a bit more zing and passion into their communication tactics – the primary focus being the website and visual universe around their Careersinracing brand.
For those working in the horse racing industry, there are many career opportunities that allow people to move upwards or sideways to progress their personal ambitions. Careersinracing helps to communicate these opportunities to key target audiences within the industry.
Firedog kicked off the project with a round of strategic planning, geared to drive people quickly to content on the site relevant to them. A fresh new design concept was born and integrated into the build of an easy to use content managed site.
In parallel to the above creative project, a brand new microsite was developed with the aim of promoting racing opportunities to young up-and-coming jockeys. The two sites were developed with very different visual look and feel objectives, but with a clear brand connection – achieved via fonts and site page templates.
